Music City Raceway has been entertaining race enthusiasts
for 50 years. The official 50th anniversary celebration/reunion race
will be held on Saturday, July 5th. The event will feature a full
slate of racing including Super Stock/Stock and Super Gas classes plus the
regular line up, a walk down memory lane in the Nostalgia Exhibit, cool cars
from years gone by and interviews with former drivers, track owners and
officials.
| Gates open at 3:00 for this historic event. Special
commemorative trophies will be awarded to all winners and runners-up
in addition to cash prizes. |
Established in 1958, Music City Raceway (formerly Union
Hill Raceway) has some of the fiercest competition anywhere to be found. It is
the home of many national champions in Super Stock, Super Gas, Super Comp and
Stock eliminator as well as big money bracket winners. A complete renovation of
the racetrack was completed in 2007 which included new concrete walls and racing
surfaces, new air-conditioned restrooms, new grandstands and an expanded
concession menu. Music City Raceway is one the finest, 1/8 mile racetracks in
the country.

Music City Raceway runs Street Legal
programs on Tuesday and Friday nights. Our intent is to give kids and
adults a place to race safely on the strip, not the street. Admission
is a modest $5 and children 12 and under are always free. The
competition heats up on Saturday nights when the program includes Super
Pro, Super Gas, Super Stock/Stock, Pro, Sportsman, Pro Motorcycles,
Street Legal Trophy and Jr. Dragsters. Saturday admission is only $10
and children 12 & under are also free. Parking and pit passes are
always free. Bring the whole family for a night of high-speed racing
entertainment.
